New Balance is looking for a Business Manager to lead the next phase of the brand’s journey, with full accountability for the business and P&L across products, operations, marketing and overall brand performance. Reporting to the Vice President of Foot Locker & New Balance, this is a broad commercial leadership role with the opportunity to shape the brand’s growth strategy, expand its store footprint and strengthen its position across performance, sport and lifestyle

What the role entails:

· Business & P&L Leadership: Lead the annual and long-term business plan, with full P&L accountability and a clear focus on sales, profitability and sustainable growth.

· Brand Partnership: Build a strong, trusted partnership with New Balance, balancing Alshaya’s commercial priorities with the long-term interests of the brand.

· Growth & Expansion: Shape and deliver the brand’s growth strategy, including new store openings, portfolio development and continued evolution of the omnichannel business.

· Brand & Commercial Leadership: Lead the brand across product, pricing, marketing, operations and customer experience, using commercial insights to drive performance and brand relevance

· People Leadership: Build and develop a high-performing New Balance team, creating strong capability, succession and an inclusive performance culture.

To be successful, you should have:

· A commercially strong retail leader with experience managing a business or significant commercial remit.

· Strong understanding across buying, merchandising, retail operations and marketing, with the ability to connect these areas to drive overall business performance.

· Able to set long term direction while remaining close to product, stores, customers and day to day performance.

· Strong experience managing senior stakeholders and external brand partnerships, with mature negotiation and relationship building capability.

· A strong developer of people who can build engaged, capable and high-performing teams.
