Quality Coordinator – Key Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance within a food manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with FMCG or food production facilities preferred.

Technical Knowledge

  • Good understanding of HACCP, GMP, Food Safety, and Quality Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of FSSC 22000 requirements and CCP monitoring.
  • Experience in quality inspections, audits, product evaluations, and complaint investigations.
  • Familiarity with microbiological sampling, calibration verification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine quality and food safety inspections throughout the facility.
  • Verify raw materials, work-in-process, and finished product compliance.
  • Monitor GMP, personal hygiene, pest control, PPE compliance, and housekeeping standards.
  • Investigate quality issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints.
  • Maintain quality records, trackers, KPIs, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support product launches, process validation, and positive product release activities.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make risk-based quality decisions.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with a proactive attitude and ability to work under pressure.
  • Good computer skills (Excel, Word, reporting systems).
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
