Role Profile:

Responsible for assisting the Department to achieve department objectives and company goals in a timely efficient manner.

The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:

Keep accurate records, review information, consolidate reports and take action where necessary.

• Maintain accurate inventory data to facilitate decision-making, and tracking of Key Performance Indicators.
• Maintain accurate forecasts and orders, and deal with day-to-day issues escalating to the Supply Chain Manager when further support is needed.
• Place orders based on forecast stock levels, ensuring that these orders are calculated accurately and cost-effectively.
• Take into account seasonal factors, sales history, promotions, and feedback from markets.

Communicate with Line Manager any variances, or improvements to be made to current department practices.

• Ensure forecasts are produced for allocated markets / product areas, and communicated to suppliers in a timely manner.
• Ensure ongoing product availability in the relevant markets / product areas, highlighting potential stock issues and taking appropriate corrective action.
• Monitor stock levels and product-life in allocated markets / product areas, to take corrective / pro-active action in order to avoid out-of-stocks and expired stock.

Develop relationships both internal and external to achieve objectives within timescales.

Communicate relevant information to Internal/external parties whilst presenting the Company in a professional manner.

• Take corrective action on potential stock problems, highlighting these to the business where appropriate.
