Recipe and Development Chef Job Description 

Position Overview: 

As a Recipe and Development Chef, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating and refining culinary offerings for key brands. Your focus will be on recipe development, testing existing products, and ensuring alignment with company values. This position combines creativity, scientific knowledge, and collaboration. 

Responsibilities: 

  1. Recipe Development and Innovation: 

  • Create original recipes and food products that align with brand objectives and guest preferences. 

  • Explore new flavor profiles, ingredients, and cooking techniques to drive innovation. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate ideas into practical recipes. 

  1. Expansion plans for Princi 

  • Ability to understand, bakery, pastry and savory food to help scale a key brand for growth.  

  • Understand key flavor profiles and make sure we are not missing the mark on all dishes 

  • Work well with the current central team as a partnership to ensure systems and quality get implemented.  

  • Ability to implement and work on continues development with partnership with host brand.  

  1. Product Testing and Refinement: 

  • Conduct rigorous testing of existing products (such as chicken and beef dishes) to enhance taste, texture, and quality. 

  • Optimize recipes for consistency, shelf life, and cost-effectiveness. 

  • Document detailed specifications for each recipe. 

  1. Technical Skills: 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools, including Excel and PowerPoint. 

  • Ability to create and manage specification sheets for recipes. 

  • Familiarity with food safety standards and compliance. 

  1. Location and Travel: 

  • Based at the culinary center in Avenues Mall, Kuwait. 

  • Willingness to travel for collaboration with manufacturers, on-site training, and brand-related activities.

  1. Professional Appearance and Standards: 

  • Maintain a polished and professional appearance, adhering to uniform and grooming guidelines.

  • Will report to the Head of Culinary 

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 3 years of culinary experience, including exposure to restaurant kitchens and menu development. 

  • Strong communication skills for pitching ideas and presenting to stakeholders.
