Role Profile: 

Advise and assist with the planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, modelling and reporting of the total Hospitality business. Assist in the development of the 1year strategic Business Plan and cash flow. Monitor ongoing performance and business profitability against plan to enable/give direction on corrective action and optimize ongoing business performance.

Responsible for maintaining Food Safety and Food Quality Policy. Maintain and adhere to FSSC standard requirements.

The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:

Model and provide previous, current and forecasted financial information to assist and enable Sales and Operations Management to review performance and build Business plans that optimize trading patterns.

• Independently and objectively review plans for business sense (financial continuity, consistency & realism) and provide guidance/direction throughout the approval cycle.
• Assist with presenting final budgets to the Senior Management for final signoff.
• Review budget against actual trading performance every period. 
• Re-forecasts profit expectations with the Group Financial Controller to enable the Business to act quickly and appropriately.
• Ensure timely and accurate production of standard and customized financial reports for the Business.
• Ensure that Sales, Operations and Management are fully briefed on how reports should be used to identify critical success factors and relevant corrective actions.
• Undertake focused analysis on Capex / investment performance, CPF’s and ongoing costs reviews. 
• Provide commentary to support critical business decisions and provide sound independent financial advice to Senior Management.
• Illustrate results, trends or market conditions which impact profitability.
• Product Costing for all 3 CPF’s (UAE, KSA, and Kuwait), raise quotations to respective NAM, system setup of approved products, customer price book maintenance, update and maintain Product Master Data with price, raise supplier LPO’s in Oracle after verification of approval, Supplier Invoices initiation in Omni Flow for approval & payments, maintain Excise Tax for sweetened drinks and its compliance FTA Audit etc. Prepare monthly accruals for CPF UAE, KSA and Kuwait to ensure all expenses are accounted in relevant periods. Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales and variance reports, Prepare Annual Accrual of all CPF Market and share with Central Finance before year end closing

Qualifications:

• 5 years’ experience in accounting with retail or similar business.
• PC literate
• Degree with recognized accounting qualification
• Fluent in English, Proficient in reading and writing.
• Review sales data, Analyse and Manage Sales & Budget: 
• Accountability for managing the existing business with the Hospitality Brand aligned business objectives.
• Work cross functionally to help support and drive the Alshaya sustainability commitments.
