Role Profile:

Monitor and oversee accounting functions and transactions. Ensure internal controls are implemented within policy and procedure and accounting standards, and appropriate external requirements/liaison. Supervise and guide assigned team to meet deadlines and department objectives

The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare quarterly & yearly financial statements
  • Manage lease accounting (IFRS 16) including data coordination
  • Handle intercompany transactions and cross-entity reconciliations
  • Understanding of various taxes including but not limited to VAT, Zakat, WHT, Corporate Tax, Excise, Salary Tax (Egypt), Profession, Beverage tax (Morocco) compliance
  • Coordinate with statutory auditors and consultants for audits and tax compliance
  • Provide financial data for business, regulatory, and licensing requirements
  • Work closely with regional finance teams across teams in regional offices
  • Has experience in Finance & Accounts department of Retail Company in GCC
  • Have hands on experience in multi-currency / multi entity environment
  • Fluency in Arabic & English is must (both read & write)
  • Support system/process improvements and compliance initiatives (e.g., e‑invoicing)

Knowledge:

Academic qualification with CA / ACCA

Experience:

5-7 years’ experience

Skills:

Accounting and Analytical skills

Advanced MS office skills
