Role Profile:

Owner of setting up suppliers on Alshaya Systems for payments, Track inventory movement from suppliers->expeditors->Alshaya DCs. Single point of Contact for Stock discrepancies from suppliers, inbounds. Point of contact for inventory planning and liaising with the Brand Merchandising and Planning Teams

The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:

1. Responsible for Supplier payments on time. Single Point of Contact for suppliers in the Brand

2. Owner of the Stock trackers from suppliers to expeditors to DCs. Liaising with the Brand heads for Alignment

3. Single Point of contact for Liaising with IT and Finance teams for any stock discrepancies

4. Accountable for tracking pending credit notes from suppliers/Third parties

5. Continuous improvement to processes around Stock inbounds into our DCs

6. Responsible for Inbounds into our DCs along with VAS activities across different markets and track the costs incurred for any additional services for the Brand by the DCs

7. Single Point of Contact for the Brand for any manual allocations/Picks and liaise with the respective DCs

8. Central POC around Brand Supply Chain, Invoicing, Monthly inventory Flow, OTBs (commitments and ROY available OTBs)

9. Lead the Weekly, Fortnightly, Monthly inventory movement (Inbounds, Outbounds, VAS) trackers, OTB Meetings and Liaise with the Brand Merchandising Manager-Supply Chain to align the progress

10. Have a medium to long term vision to improve any processes, activities to increase efficiencies to drive more profitability for the Brand

11. Coach the team members to drive increased profitability

Knowledge:

  • Alshaya Inventory, Supply Chain, Planning & Merchandising systems
  • English essential
  • Retail business and commerciality

Experience:

  • 2-4 years of supply Chain experience, 1-2 years of planning experience, 4-6 years of overall merchandising experience

Skills:

  • Team management
  • Negotiation
  • Analytical
  • Willingness and ability to travel
  • Excellent Excel skills
