Role Profile :

To ensure the effective operation of all mechanical and electrical plant within the area of operation. Capable of working as part of a team and taking Instruction. Ensure health and safety and standard PPM practices are adhered to and completing all necessary paperwork on maintenance and repair operations. Must be a good communicator and have relevant M&E experience in manufacturing. 

Responsible for maintaining Food Safety and Food Quality Policy. Maintain and adhere to FSSC standard requirements. 

The below Key Performance areas include but are not limited to: 

• • Capability of use of computer software such as Microsoft Office,
    • Preventive maintenance program for all equipment on site. 
    • Adequate handover of machineries after PPM/breakdown 
    • Ensure hygiene condition of equipment during maintenance 
    • Knowledge of equipment and processes required in engineering workplace 
    • General housekeeping and cleaning duties related to engineering practices 
    • Knowledge of food manufacturing plant and operational requirements 
    • Review and improvement of systems in conjunction with the manager 
    • Ensure all works are compliant with company SHEQ requirements 
    • Recording and reporting on maintenance works 
    • Inventory of spares and record keeping of used spare parts 
    • Capability to complete tasks without delay and supervision
    • Inform Food safety team about any changes in equipment as well as any risk on food safety related to utensils and equipment.

      Knowledge: 

      • Health and Safety 
      • Mechanical and / or Electrical systems

      • Basic food hygiene and safety 
      • Supervisory experience and control of subordinates. 
      • Experience: 
        • 3-5years’ experience of food processing plant and equipment maintenance. 
        • Worked as part of a team.
        • Supervisory experience and control of subordinates
        • Record and reporting
    • Skills: 
      • M&E training and must hold a recognised technical qualification or trade experience 
      • Understanding of MEP equipment 
      • H&S  
      • Supervision

    • Qualification:

    • 3-5years’ experience or an equivalent degree. 

  • Language Requirement: 

  • Fluent in English, Proficient in reading and writing

• Additional role requirements: 
• Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times
• Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received 
• The position requires weekend and night shift working. The working pattern may include both Friday and Saturday or public holidays as normal working days. 
• The role will require site attendance outside of offices hours in the event of an emergency
