Role Profile:
• A “hands-on” technical role with a focus on non functional areas – performance, scalability, databases and security
• With a clear understanding of system, Testers are highly proficient in designing performance test suites and in using various testing techniques.
• Requires flexibility, accuracy and a strong sense of ownership.

The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:
• Analyse requirements and the test data needs.
• Create test cases, scripts and traceability matrix.
• Understand the system and come up with non functional test plan
• Coordinate with the development teams (including vendor) to ensure that all the understandings / requirement are met.
• Help analyse the impact of the change on the system and identify the performance impact.
• Execute the test cases manually, understand and derive the performance script
• Present test-case walk-through / script readiness walkthrough
• Following the required set standards
• Analyzing the testing results and submitting the report to the stakeholders.
• Ensure that the testing is carried out as per the defined standards and procedures
• Ensure that test-product documentation is complete
• Focus on continuous testing improvements
• Responsibility for the maintenance of perf/non-functional requirements environments across products, working closely with the delivery teams to define an optimal solution for each platform.
Knowledge & Experience:
• Should be 2-6 years of experience into Testing and must have a good knowledge of Testing fundamentals and its application.
• Retail and Warehouse management experience would be advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Agile QA methodology, tools and experience in quality engineering.
• Experience with performance, scalability and reliability testing methodologies.
• Experience testing high quality, high availability customer facing applications.
• Hands on experience on performance (load, throughput) and failover testing, measuring system utilization, response time and latencies.
• Experience with load testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, Locust, WebLoad, Load Runner.
• Experience with API performance/load testing.
• Excellent understanding of web/N tier architecture.
• Ability to analyze architectures, point out performance bottlenecks, limitations, optimizations and resolutions.
• Understanding of performance monitoring counters such as response time, throughput, latency, and memory.
• Knowledge of New Relic, Dynatrace, Fiddler,Charles Proxy and security testing for OWASP vulnerabilities is a plus
