Role Profile:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial and Inventory Planner to join our team. This role will focus on managing financial planning and inventory control, ensuring that both financial goals and inventory levels align with company objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience in forecasting and budgeting, and a solid understanding of inventory management principles.

The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:

1 Financial Planning and Analysis:
◦ Develop, monitor, and analyze financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
◦ Provide timely and accurate financial reports to management.
◦ Conduct variance analysis between budgeted and actual figures, identifying key trends and opportunities for cost savings.
2 Inventory Management:
◦ Oversee and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet business demands
◦ Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and sales teams to forecast demand and adjust inventory orders accordingly.
◦ Monitor stock movements and ensure inventory accuracy through regular audits and reconciliations.
◦ Manage slow-moving or obsolete stock, recommending strategies for reduction or liquidation.
3 Reporting and Analysis:
◦ Create and maintain inventory and financial reports for senior management.
◦ Analyze inventory turnover rates and help optimize stock replenishment cycles.
◦ Prepare and present financial and inventory performance metrics to leadership.
4 Process Improvement:
◦ Continuously assess financial and inventory management processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
◦ Implement systems or software tools to streamline inventory tracking and financial reporting.
5 Cross-functional Collaboration:
◦ Work closely with purchasing, sales, and operations teams to ensure smooth financial and inventory workflows.

Knowledge:

•  Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management

Experience:

• 3 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and inventory management.

Skills:

• Strong proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and forecasting techniques.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
