The Role: 

The Senior System Engineer, Infrastructure Services role is to strategically design and implement in-house infrastructure systems and architectures that support core organizational functions and assure their high availability. This includes planning and lifecycle management, integration and standards as well as overall ongoing systems management around availability, performance, and capacity, security to drive efficient and effective IT systems to meet the business needs. In addition, the Senior System Engineer provides technical leadership across the organization, from strategic decision making down to the project planning level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and
wireless networks.
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Configure and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection
systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, collaborate with internal IT teams and work
closely for issue resolution.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Microsoft systems, including Windows Server,
Active Directory and Office 365 products.
• Extensive experience in VMware virtualization, implement and maintain solution in a physical and
virtual environment.
• Strong knowledge and experience in cloud platforms such as Azure/Google cloud, certification would
be an added advantage.
• Document network and server configurations, changes, and procedures.
• Required to work in shifts and provide IT technical support to end users.
 
Qualifications:
 
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent stream.
• CCNA certification is a must, CCNP certification or equivalent would be an added advantage.
• Experience with network hardware (e.g., Cisco/IBM/DELL /Sonicawall) and software (e.g., New Relic,
SolarWinds).
• Well experience in implementing & managing server hardware such as IBM/DELL/HP blade servers
and SAN storages.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and able to work under pressure in time of critical incidents.
• Strong communication , teamwork abilities and willing to work in shifts.
