Accountable for the overall development, management and execution of the UAT Plans to ensure that the functional testing is relevant, aligned to the process catalogue and of high quality, executed on time and in full.
Ideally from a test management background or with direct experience in this area
Used to working with a structured and proven methodology to develop a testing plan and approach that is relevant and effective
Relevant functional or technical knowledge to the Portfolio processes and the related solutions would be an advantage
A Leader who can evidence directing a team effectively
: The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to
Manages and coordinates a team of UAT Leads across multiple concurrent Test Phases in a Portfolio
Accountable for the overall management of the UAT Plans focusing on Scenarios, Threads and Test Cases ensuring completeness of all possible scenarios
Drives inputs to the UAT Plan for continuous improvement and ensure a consistent methodology
Acts as the Business Testing representative in the planning of the Test Phases, Environment Planning and Data Loading activities, identifying risks and issues
Communicates the UAT Plan to all stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment
Accountable to represent the Business UAT testing at key governance forums not limited to Sub- Programme Boards, BRGs and Go No Go
Engages Product Directors, BPMs and BPOs to ensure that UAT plans are robust aligned against resourcing or other priorities and conflicts
Liaises with UAT Test Managers in other Portfolios to surface and mitigate conflicts or clashes and plan cross functional/ dependency driven functional testing
Accountable to manage UAT risks and issues, propose mitigating actions and escalate as needed
Accountable for continuous improvement to the UAT processes through application of Lessons Learnt from each testing phase
Accountable for ensuring Test Governance, Vendors, BAs and SMEs provide inputs to the UAT test plan
Accountable for developing the execution plan, flow and timing against the UAT test plan
Accountable to oversee the test leads coordination of the UAT execution
Accountable to escalate issues with UAT and Defects to BPOs/ Product Directors and Test Governance or other key stakeholders
Chair UAT Governance forum
Accountable for identifying Lessons Learnt from UAT testing Phase to be rolled into actionable change
